Wanna put all those hard hours in the gym to work for a great cause?
The 2012 Relay for Life No Surrender Challenge is your ticket.
Taking place Sat., May 12 at 10 a.m. at the Jackson Jiu-Jitsu Academy, the No Surrender Challenge is the perfect way to give back to those who truly need it.
The challenge will feature a circuit-type workout consisting of five stations: burpees, kettlebell deadlift high-pull, box jump, push-press, and rowing.
The goal, per the academy’s instructions, is to “complete as many reps as possible in 1 minute at each of the 5 stations 3 times with 1 minute rest in-between rounds.”
To even out the playing field, the No Surrender Challenge will feature four divisions, each with the opportunity to win some sweet prizes courtesy yours truly at Foundation Fight Co., Lapel Choke, Mark’s Daily Apple, and more.
For more information on the divisions, prizes, registration, and donations, check out this link or head to Jackson Jiu-Jitsu Academy’s homepage.
There’s no better feeling in life than lending a helping hand, and the No Surrender Challenge is the perfect way to give back to worthy cause and score some cool prizes for your time.
See you then!
